With 90 years of collective experience, our team has developed a program designed for to provide high school students and their teachers with marketable life skills based on the problem solving methodology known as Lean Six Sigma.
Leadership
Peria (“Regu”) Regupathy
Regu is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Champion, holds a master’s degree in engineering, and is a registered professional engineer. He is a Lean Six Sigma Senior Trainer and facilitator and Green Belt and Black belt project coach for Rutgers University. He has led professional teams of 600+ and managed multi‐billion dollar projects (power, petrochemical, mining, industrial). As a Master Black Belt, Regu has trained and certified hundreds of Lean Six Sigma practitioners and his projects have generated savings of over US$50 million. Projects mentored include multiple industries including technology, banking, healthcare, education, manufacturing, food processing and retail management. He is the author of the book Lean Six Sigma in Six Days and was a member of the Adjunct Faculty in the MBA Program at University of Georgia.
Steve Mercadante
Steve has over 30 years of manufacturing experience in process improvement spanning aerospace, medical devices, biologics, tissue engineering, and life safety systems. He has developed teams, trained employees, and implemented lean six sigma projects saving over $10M. He has directed Operations, Process Engineering, Facilities, and Support Services with as many as 500 technical personnel. Steve is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Currently “Mr. Merc” is a Career Technical Educator with a standard license in the state of New Jersey and serves as a teacher of Pre-Engineering and Manufacturing at Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Jonathan Lane
Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in the public and private sectors in service industries. He later transitioned into adult professional education and training, and since 2007 has been engaged in the design, development, and management of business skills training for thousands of business professionals, with a focus on process improvement and project management. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Rutgers University.
